|The 22nd city is Shiping. Traveling through 100 cities in China | No. 22 Shiping Not far from Jianshui, there is a small town called Shiping. Anyone who has been to Jianshui will be amazed by the grandeur of Chaoyang Tower, the magnificence of Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the splendor of Zhu Family Garden. In comparison, the Confucian Temple in Shiping is just an inconspicuous "senior citizen activity center", and the Yuping Academy has become a free museum. Even though the ancient city of Shiping is brightly lit at night, there are only a handful of pedestrians on the streets. Jianshui and Shiping are like two brothers, one is successful and famous, while the other is unknown and little known. However, the low-key Shiping produced the only top scholar in Yunnan: Mr. Yuan Jiagu, which is enough to show the profound historical heritage beneath the inconspicuous appearance of this small city.
