【 8 】Big and Small Wutong Traverse⛰️ Ten Peaks Progress (6/10) 🌟Summit Route (Sunset version without backtracking) - Route: Xiutong Trail Up - Big Wutong - Small Wutong - Dengyun Trail Down - Travel Guide: 1️⃣ Xiutong Trail - Big Wutong Summit: Exit C of Shenwai High School Station on Metro Lines 2/8, take the elevator to the second floor, navigate to the start of Xiutong Trail, about a 20-minute walk (P3-5); first climb for about 1 hour, this section mainly consists of smooth steps plus shade (P6); then reach the steepest part of Xiutong Trail, where you can also see the beautiful sea and sky view (P7-8), about 30 minutes to reach the summit viewing platform (P9-10), then about 2 more minutes to the "Pengcheng First Peak" stone monument to check in for the Ten Peaks (P11). The scenery here is really amazing, perfect for photos anytime. 2️⃣ Big Wutong - Small Wutong: Descend the Hero Slope for 30 minutes to reach Hero Slope Square (P12), along the way you can get a distant view of Small Wutong (P13); hike about 1 hour along the winding mountain road through Butterfly Valley to reach Small Wutong (P14). If you don’t want to walk, you can also take the summit bus, which costs ¥10 and takes about ten minutes. 3️⃣ Small Wutong - Dengyun Trail (Small Wutong Square - Yitian Path - Dengyun Trail - Liantang Metro Station): About 50 minutes down to Dengyun Trail, then about a 10-minute walk to Liantang Metro Station. ✨Wutong Mountain truly deserves its title as the highest peak in Pengcheng, with wide views and stunning scenery that is breathtaking. This route covers most of Wutong Mountain’s attractions and is relatively friendly in terms of physical demand, highly recommended~ ✨The Small Wutong sunset can be seen roughly along the Yitian Path section (P15-18). Walking with the afterglow and sunset, waiting for the city night view to light up during the blue hour, the meaning of hiking uphill becomes vivid at this moment.
