梦想旅行家联盟Stepping into the "Greater Khingan Mountains" from our textbooks, we embarked on an autumnal adventure 🍂 #AutumnInMyEyes From mid-September to early October, the stunning autumn scenery of Hulunbuir will soon unfold, with captivating colors blooming for only half a month at its peak. Here Heaps of lush haystacks rolled up across the grasslands. The birch forests were ablaze with golden hues. Cattle and sheep grazed freely by the roadside. Every scene was like a luminous oil painting. Wandering through it felt like stepping into a painting. No wonder it was named one of China's most beautiful autumn landscapes by *Chinese National Geography*! ✈️Transportation 📍Hailar Dongshan Airport: Direct flights are limited; most require a transfer. A better option is to transfer in Harbin and take a sleeper train to Hailar, which is more economical. 🚗🚗Once there, you can hire a car or join a tour. Hulunbuir is vast and sparsely populated; the scenery is all along the way. 📝 Travel Tips: 🔸Generally, the northern route turns yellow first, followed by the southern route. At this time, the alternating colors of red, yellow, and green are even more beautiful! 👍 ✅Therefore, I recommend visiting the northern route first, then the southern route. This way, you won't miss any of the stunning autumn scenery! 🍂 🔸Autumn came early this year, and the northern route has already started to turn yellow. If you're planning a trip to Hulunbuir, you can start planning now! 🔸There's a large temperature difference between day and night. It can get a bit hot at midday when the sun is out. The northern route is quite cold, so bring a warm jacket. ⚠️Kaxian, Shiwei, and Manzhouli are border areas; drones are prohibited. 🗺️Recommended 7-day, 6-night itinerary: ✅Day 1 Day 1: Hailar → Hulunbuir Grassland → Cross the grassland to the cliff (best spot to view the Morigele River) → Valley of the Wind → Ergun (overnight) Day 2: Ergun → Deep trek through the birch forest → Russian Ethnic Township (overnight in Enhe) Day 3: Enhe → Shiwei → Most beautiful sunset on the grassland → Heishantou (overnight) Day 4: Heishantou → Primitive nomadic life (visit a herder's family) → 186 Ribbon River → Border Defense Line → National Gate → Matryoshka Square → Manzhouli (overnight) Day 5: Manzhouli → Nomonhan War Relics → Genghis Khan Horse Hitching Post → Yiershi → Arxan Tianchi Service Area (overnight) Day 6: Arxan National Forest Park (can be explored for two or three days if time permits) Day 7: Arxan National Forest Park → Honghuaerji National Forest Park → Bayan Hushuo → Hailar Worth visiting: 👇👇 📍Mordaga, Deep trek through the birch forest Quietly soak in the autumn scenery—absolutely stunning! 📍Morigele River: Driving deep into the grasslands, the hay bales are indeed very neatly arranged. 📍Enhe River: Located on the Sino-Russian border, this place offers a rich immersive experience of Russian culture. 📍Manzhouli: Visit the Russian Matryoshka Doll Hotel 🪆—the interior decorations are truly beautiful! 📍Heishantou: Horse riding, archery, milking cows, and feeding lambs 🐑 📍Arxan: The entire route is golden yellow; don't miss it if you want to see the most beautiful autumn scenery.
