Green Tea Restaurant Comes to Olympian City!

I opened my mailbox and found a flyer announcing the opening of a Green Tea Restaurant in Olympian City. Of course, I had to go and try it out! I really appreciate how Hong Kong, despite being densely populated, has restaurants that put effort into their design. The restaurant features a charming, vintage green tree theme that is truly refreshing. The menu includes pictures, making the dishes visually appealing and easy to understand—highly commendable! **Three-Color Shredded Chicken Cold Noodles** This dish features noodles in three flavors: pumpkin, purple sweet potato, and spinach. The vibrant colors, combined with a mildly spicy soy sauce, make it a refreshing and appetizing choice. **Potato Cheese Tart** Shaped like an egg tart, this cheese tart is rich and flavorful. The topping of cheese and bacon adds a savory touch, and the unique preparation of the potato made me, someone who usually doesn’t enjoy potatoes, finish the entire tart. **Shrimp Wrapped in Vermicelli** The shrimp is served raw, and you use a timer to cook it. Watching the shrimp turn from white to orange is quite therapeutic. The shrimp is tender and bouncy, while the vermicelli absorbs all the sauce, making it incredibly flavorful. **Crispy Roasted Duck with Scallions** Although the portion isn’t large, the plate is filled with scallions, which is delightful! The duck skin is perfectly crispy, and the meat remains tender and juicy. Paired with the scallions, it’s incredibly aromatic and tasty. **Clay Pot Tofu with Minced Meat** This was my choice because I wanted something to go with rice. The tofu, mixed with taro, minced meat, and green peas, is served piping hot and pairs perfectly with white rice—absolutely irresistible! With thoughtful design, comfortable seating, and affordable prices for Chinese cuisine, Green Tea Restaurant is truly an excellent choice.
