A hike with stunning views of Shenzhen

Nanshan mountain is one of the easier hikes in Shenzhen and gives you some of the best views of the city. Located in Nanshan park the mountain isn’t very steep and has well maintained paths to the top. There are various places along the way to stop and rest, many with views out over the city. When you reach the top you are able to see the full extend of Shenzhen all the way upto the downtown areas of Futian and Louhu. Shenzhen spreads all along the coast up Shenzhen bay and this viewpoint is a great place to see the true extent of the city. You can see Hong Kong across the bay and the Shenzhen bay bridge, behind the mountain you can see the airport and watch airplanes coming into land. At the bottom of the mountain is Seaworld which is a great place for food and drink, a great spit to relax and refuel after the hike.
