The overall design of the public area is quite luxurious, in line with the St. Regis brand positioning. This time, the stay was upgraded to a loft-style suite. The interior has a sense of age, but it is well-maintained. Unfortunately, due to the floor height, the sense of space is a bit suppressed, but the old-money style is still good. As for the St. Regis butler service, I have only truly experienced it in Changsha and Macao. There is nothing to say about the service at this Shenzhen location. When I returned in the evening, there was not even turndown service... High-level members have happy hour at the hotel, not in the lounge but at the Sky Bar on the 100th floor. It is quite comfortable to have a couple of drinks in the evening. The breakfast peak hours can be very crowded, with a full variety of dishes but average taste. It is recommended to go during off-peak hours. The St. Regis Shenzhen, which has been open for more than ten years, still holds the title of the highest hotel in Shenzhen and the highest St. Regis in the world. However, to maintain competitiveness, there are many areas that need improvement. The upcoming Qianhai St. Regis, designed by André Fu, will inevitably impact the hotel, and Shenzhen will become the second city with two St. Regis hotels.
