Unexpectedly, Nanshan Lake on a rainy day is stunning! The misty lake looks like an ink painting, and the best part is it’s completely free🆓 with free parking! 🌫 Highlights ▫️ Nanshan Lake National Forest Park Address: East of Nanshan Reservoir, Shengzhou City This lake is truly healing! When we arrived, it was drizzling, and the whole lake was shrouded in light fog, with distant mountains faintly visible. Walking along the lakeside trail was very comfortable, and we even encountered a beautiful osmanthus rain (I heard it’s even more spectacular in mid to late October). ▫️ Guimen Mountain Address: Guimen Township, Shengzhou City Just a 20-minute drive away, the mountain road is lined with lush tea trees. There’s a viewing platform at the top where you can overlook the entire Shengzhou city on clear days. Although we didn’t see the full view this time, the misty scenery had its own charm~ 💡 Useful tips 1⃣ It’s best to visit in the morning; fog tends to roll in the afternoon and affect visibility. 2⃣ Remember to bring an umbrella!
