This time in Shantou, we stayed at a bamboo-themed hotel 📍Located in the urban area of Shantou, DIOTEL Tide Hotel 🏨This hotel is truly memorable, especially the bamboo spiral staircase, which made us feel the craftsmanship of the Chaoshan people. The hospitality and sincerity were evident in every aspect of our stay, from dining to accommodation. The food was excellent, and the service was great. I must recommend it to tourists planning to visit. ⭐️Complete functional areas: ▫️The first-floor lobby area features a tea table, an essential for Chaoshan people. We brewed Kung Fu tea here. ▫️The first-floor indoor restaurant, Chao Garden Private Kitchen, where we had dinner. The Chaoshan-style marinated hot pot was excellent, and the ingredients were trustworthy. We also had a buffet breakfast here, with a wide variety of dishes, including Chaoshan, Western, and Chinese cuisine. ▫️The rooftop open-air restaurant, Chao Universe, has a "Inception"-themed photo scene, with a ceiling made of various bamboo structures. ⭐️Chaoshan special experience projects: ▫️Red Peach Cake Making🍑 A professional chef taught us how to make Red Peach Cake by hand, and the staff helped steam it so we could taste it in the restaurant. ▫️Chao Opera Performance🎭 There is a Chao Opera theater on the top floor, decorated with Chaoshan elements, classical and grand. ⭐️Rooms: 🛏The bedding was comfortable, allowing us to fall asleep instantly. The whole house is equipped with a smart voice system, enhancing the stay experience. Service: 🤵🏻‍♀️The staff were well-trained, responsive, polite, and attentive, making us truly feel "home away from home". 🚗Nearby attractions a few kilometers away: ▫️Zhujiang Road Food Street, close to the hotel, offers various local snacks. The whole street is filled with delicious food, better than Longyan Road and less crowded. ▫️MixC, the most fashionable shopping area in Shantou, is convenient for shopping and dining, suitable for indoor activities with kids in summer. ▫️Xiaogongyuan, an ancient street with Chaoshan charm, perfect for taking photos and checking in, and also offers various local delicacies.
