Shantou Marriott Hotel Stay Experience

In mid-last month, on a whim, I decided to taste Shantou's delicacies, experience the Chaozhou-Swatow's three sisters rice rolls, try the raw marinated and cooked drunken dishes, and visit livehouse bars. So, a group of us set off to enjoy the beauty of Chaozhou-Swatow. After careful selection, we finally chose this newly opened seafront hotel in 2023 - Shantou Marriott Hotel. 1. Arrival at the Hotel After getting off the high-speed train, we called a Didi directly to the hotel. The Shantou Marriott Hotel towers into the sky, with the lobby located directly on the 27th floor of the building (this height is truly unprecedented). The entire floor is covered with glass, making it very recognizable. 2. Check-in We arrived at the hotel at 3 PM. As a platinum member, the hotel had arranged a room on a high floor in advance. There was no waiting throughout the process, and we were given complimentary breakfast for two, executive lounge access, welcome fruits, and drinks. 3. Guest Rooms The hotel arranged suites on the 36th and 38th floors. This time, we stayed in one king room and one twin room, both of which were 09 full sea view rooms. The view was fantastic, and all the curtains and screens in the room were electric. Without further ado, here are the pictures. 4. Dining and Fitness During this stay, we experienced the executive lounge afternoon tea, happy hour dinner, and breakfast. The lounge has a 180-degree sea view style, and almost every angle is very nice. The dinner had a lot of options, feeling much more than the Crowne Plaza under the InterContinental brand. There was also a lady who made special cocktails; whatever you could think of, she could make it. The hotel's swimming pool is not large, with a length of about 15 meters, but there were few people, so two people could swim freely, and the water temperature was very suitable. 5. Other Surroundings The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the MixC in the city center, which is very comfortable outside of peak hours. There is a newly opened Shanhai livehouse downstairs from the hotel, with affordable prices. The four of us bought a group ticket for 66 yuan and listened for an entire evening, hahaha.
