Step Back in Time in the Oldest Uyghur Village 🇨🇳

#traveldiaries The Mazar Tuyuk Village located in Turpan is the ildest Uyghur village in Xinjiang. It is apparently 1,700 years old. It still has earthen houses which remain intact up to this day. Mazar village is also known to be a holy place as this is where Islam has started to spread in China. When you come to this place, it looks and feels authentic as it gets as a lot of earthen houses here are well preserved. Very exotic and interesting to see. Ticket price : 30 rmb but you need to pay extra for the shuttle rides
