Shangri-La Ancient town

The main attraction and the most common area to stay in Shangri-La, the streets ambience is warm with wooden Tibetan style 2 floors buildings covered with ice (Lapland of China). lot of shops and restaurants surrounding Guishan Temple which is one of the main attractions in Shangri-La, if not the most. Ga’dan Boutique Hotel has a very Tibetan style with organized and clean hotel rooms, I totally recommend. When it comes to food, never miss yak meat, mushroom dishes, and their famous Tibetan beer.
