It’s right in the cluster of cliffside guesthouses in Wangxian Valley. No need to get up early to catch the park shuttle; you can leisurely get up and walk downstairs straight into the ancient town. The glass plank road and Wangxian Waterfall are within a 10-minute walk. After strolling the lantern street at night, you don’t have to walk in the dark—just turn a corner and you’re back in your room. It’s super convenient and worry-free for families with elderly or kids. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with an “ancient style” vibe! The lobby has wooden lanterns hanging, the front desk displays celadon tea sets, and even the stair railings are carved with auspicious cloud patterns. It’s not overly commercialized or trendy; it feels like living in a mountain home. The viewing deck in the common area is a hidden gem—sit in the rattan chair in the afternoon watching the valley mist, and every snap you take is a moody masterpiece. The room details are full of delightful surprises! The mountain view room I stayed in has panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and lying in bed I could see the stilted buildings on the opposite cliff. The bedding is soft and cozy, and it’s fully equipped with a smart toilet, electric blanket, and giant screen projector—perfect for binge-watching at night. The cleanliness is meticulous; even the rinsing cup is hand-painted ceramic. Open the window and you get fresh mountain air with no damp smell at all. The service is heartwarmingly thoughtful! The housekeeper asks about dietary preferences in advance. Breakfast includes Shangrao rice noodles and Qingming rice cakes, all local flavors.
