Boca Latin Flavors is a pet-friendly Latin American food restaurant in Wuding Rd, owned by two pet lover twins from Venezuela. This rustic restaurant has good music and chill atmosphere. Menu is has a nice variety of options, from fast food and pizza to very traditional Latin American snacks. This includes vegetarian and vegan meals. Cheese or chocolate flautas are a nice entry. Snacks like chicken pies 🥧 (pastelitos), arepas or patacones (double fried green banana) are a must try with beer🍺. For main dish, you can chose your sides depending on the mood you’re in. Lentils are great. Even if few places in Shanghai offer arepas, Boca is probably the only restaurant that has cachapas (last pic). Cachapas are Venezuelan corn pancakes served with cheese, originally indigenous cuisine that became a popular street dish and expanded to other Latin American countries. You can come here with your pet, or bring dog food for the ones already in the local. As part of their fostering work, most dogs you will find here were adopted, or are seeking for adoption.
