Brunch at Shanghai Tavern!
Love the airy and elegant dining room that overlooks the bustling Nanjing Lu. It sets a splendid scene for a lavish semi-buffet brunch.
We are treated to premium New Zealand Oysters and exquisite Irish Langoustines, followed by the starters and main dishes.
And while waiting for food, why not check out the spread at the counter? You’ll find everything from salad bar to freshly baked bread, an assortment of cold cuts, cheeses and salad bar. The dessert and fruit stations are a treat for the senses too.

World’s first Zootopia-themed land!
And it’s in Shanghai Disneyland.
Step into the vibrant streets of Zootopia and stroll down Mane Street, where you'll feel like a true resident of this bustling metropolis.
We snagged early access and dashed straight to Zootopia upon park entry. For those with Express Passes, consider hopping on Hot Pursuit twice like we did. The express lane skips some fun photo spots, like the ZPD office and the quirky prison scenes.

Hanting Hotel - Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road
We had a pleasant stay at Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road).
The room was nice and clean, small but cozy and comfortable. We had a really good sleep.
The highlight of this hotel was the location. It was ideal, it was just located a few minutes away from The Bund which was very convenient.
The lobby is on the 12th floor so it can be a bit difficult to find the right building. You just need to take the lift and go upstairs.
The only drawback was the breakfast. All the food was packed in small plastic bags. If they provide a better breakfast they will have better reviews.
Apart from that, we had a really nice time there. If you are looking for a hotel close to The Bund, the Hanting hotel might be a nice choice for you.

Yu Garden - A must see in Shanghai
Yu garden or Yuyuan is a beautiful and nice touristic place to explore in Shanghai. The garden is stunning, it is full of greenery and amazing architecture. Outside of the garden there are countless local shops and stores.
The spot definitely has the perfect combination for people who love culture, shopping, history and nature.
If you are planning to visit Shanghai, you should include Yu garden in your itinerary! I highly recommend it!

Cherry blossom view points in Shanghai
No need to go to Japan. This is Shanghai, China.
Discovered some cherry blossoms view points in Shanghai last week.
P1-3 LuXun Park, Hongkou Football Stadium Station. Walking out of gate 6, you’ll catch the most striking city&cherry blossoms view.
P4-6 Long Museum (West Bund), Xihui Bingjiang. 10 minutes cycling from Shanghai Sports Stadium. This is a pet-friendly park and there’s an old train track. Walk along the road there’re two main cherry bushes. Pink cloud is the word.

Bump into surprise during Shanghai Citywalk
Citywalk is one of the best way to immerse in a city. During our citywalk at Shanghai Wukang Road, we bumped into the surprise by the laundress. A huge laundry house pop up by the premium laundry brand, giving away special seasonal gifts to all fans!
There are a lot of pop up events and small select stores at Wukang Road. Please share if you encounter any!!

Shanghai Disneyland 🌟🔥🌈
Just came back from Shanghai (whole trip booked on Trip.com). I highly recommend everyone to go Shanghai Disneyland!!!
There is a newly opened zone of Zootopia (will post about more pics soon), and many wonderful Disney characters including Marvel! Dont miss the character parade at 12:00pm and 15:00, also the amazing fireworks at 20:00 and 21:00. I think the fireworks were the most worthy and memorable things we experienced in the park!
Remember to download the official app before going to check the map and queue time. The queuing time was crazy, we went on a weekday (Monday) and still fill of crowd, waiting up to 90min for one play😂😅
I also recommend to hire a photographer to take photos of the precious moments. We booked it on trip.com and the photographer contacted us through WeChat. Remember to check the weather too and bring umbrella or raincoat. We were drenched in the sudden rain😂
Also the classic Disney songs are all in Chinese, you may find it interesting while listening.

Shanghai ERA: Where Tradition Meets Tech
The Shanghai ERA circus performance is a captivating spectacle that seamlessly combines traditional Chinese acrobatics with modern technology and stunning visuals. The breathtaking feats of strength, agility, and precision executed by the performers leave the audience in awe. The incorporation of elaborate costumes, mesmerizing lighting effects, and dynamic music enhances the overall experience, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Shanghai. However, some may find the narrative elements lacking depth compared to other circus productions. Overall, it's an exhilarating and visually stunning show that showcases the incredible talent of the performers and the rich cultural heritage of China.

Disneyland, I'm coming 🥳🥳
My first time visiting Disney-concept attraction, which presents a truly magical journey, boasting captivating attractions, stunning architecture, and an array of entertainment options. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age or interest.😊
Despite the long walks 🏃🏻♀️ and waiting times ⏱️ for each game (usually at least 30 minutes, or about 15 minutes for the luckier ones in the morning), Disneyland Shanghai stands as an essential destination for Disney aficionados and families seeking unforgettable adventures.🤗
Additionally, street foods and snacks look more attractive to me than the meals 🍱🍔 in the restaurants😂

Must know before Visit!
Prepare to be spellbound as Shanghai transforms into a mesmerizing glowing city during the Lantern Festival.🚨
The Lantern festival in Shanghai is beautiful. I really recommend the traditional shanghai food inside the festival and especially the dumplings. (Look at the photos and get hungry)
I visited just two days after the Chinese new year day, there were a lot of people, but the shanghai police managed the people well, but if you wanted to visit the oldest tea house and pass through the zig-zag bridge you had to wait 2 hours.🕝
Note:
1. Yu Garden and the Lantern Festival are different locations with different tickets to enter.
2. The price to enter is 80 RNB

The Ultimate Date Night! ✨
Jade on 36, located on the 36th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel Pudong, where excellence and decadence coexist. Perfect for a romantic night on the town with gorgeous views of the city and Michelin star cuisine! I enjoyed my visit immensely and would highly recommend for those who are in search of an amazing, memorable fine dining experience! They also have an intimate bar and lounge adjacent to the restaurant. Great views and classic cocktails. A nice place for a secluded evening.✨

The Green Room! ✨
The Green Room is a beautiful emerald and gold lounge that has an alluring aesthetic which is what drew me to this establishment initially. It has more of a nightclub feel as the seating along the walls remind me of a place that requires reservations for bottle service. The centered bar has seating that extends along the front and sides of the bar. The walls and ceiling have LED lights that line the walls in a maze-like design. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this venue. The drinks were nicely prepared but I didn’t enjoy the flavor of either. The music was decent, but not memorable. I realize this is also a shisha lounge but I really disliked that guests are allowed to smoke cigarettes inside as well. This really killed the vibe for me. I always think people should go and try places themselves as my experience may not be yours. Even though this was my least favorite bar out of the nine that I visited, I still think it’s worth a visit to see if you enjoy it! ✨

Cool film-themed cocktail lounge! ✨
Director Bar is a film-themed cocktail lounge that features specialized drinks that represent several popular TV shows and movies. The bar has several intimate areas to enjoy a cocktail and also has a very large outdoor terrace that is open during the warmer months. I ordered the Titanic cocktail and enjoyed its presentation and taste. I went during the CNY season and they did not have all the ingredients available for the other two cocktails I wanted to try. The service was good and perhaps I will check out this bar again once the terrace is open. All in all, I believe it’s worth a try. ✨

The distinguished Waldorf Astoria SH! ✨
Charm and elegance are what this hotel represents. Stunning chandeliers, classic decor, exceptional service, my visit to the Grand Brasserie at The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai was unforgettable! Delicious cuisine and amazing service! I highly recommend for visitors or locals for a night on the town! After dinner, I also visited the hotel lounge called Long Bar where a live band and jazz singer performs nightly! ✨

Oneness Whisky Bar ✨
If you’re looking my for a lounge with an interesting but cool concept, creative cocktails, and a chill atmosphere, then you must visit Oneness Whisky Bar! Located in Xuhui District, this lounge has a Clock and Gears theme. The accent wall has an enormous clock that actually moves, perfect for pictures! The designers of this bar spared no expense on the concept as every little detail represents a clock and its parts. It was such a cool lounge to walk into! Even the menu and the bathroom sink had an amazing design! I loved how the menu not only lists the ingredients of each cocktail but also has an illustration of what each drink will look like! I ordered the “Glass Sea” and “Clueless Rose”, both of which I enjoyed. Cocktails are between 89¥ and 98¥. They also offer food items. I really enjoyed my visit to this bar and I will definitely return to try their other creative cocktail options!

Most Underrated 🌇 Museum of Shanghai
I wasn't sure if I should come as the name doesn't cause any excitement 😜 but I clearly regretted immediately!
A total of 4 floors stuffed with SO much information about Shanghai since de ancient times 🗿 until the MASTER PLAN of 2035 🛸
it is impressive to learn and observe how much the city has changed and all the organization/logistics 😲 as well as all the details in terms of quality of life 🧬
🚨 By the way, it is free 🤫
a great activity for a winter rainy weekend, you can easily spend 3 hours there (and I am not a museum geek 🤓)
There's a cafetaria on the last floor with a good view to the city 🏙️

Train Thrills at Shanghai Railway Museum!
We loved visiting the Shanghai Railway Museum, especially because my son is crazy about trains. The museum is in an old-style building, and it was like stepping back in time to when trains first started in Shanghai.
Inside, there were real trains, old carriages, and even a cool part where my son got to pretend to be a train driver using a console. The museum is not big, but it's full of interesting things. We saw two old trains, a green carriage, and a platform for taking pictures.
The best part for my son was the tiny model trains. The museum had pictures, books, and badges from a long time ago, showing how trains changed in Shanghai.
It's open from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
You can find it at No. 200 Tianmu East Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, China.
If your kid loves trains, like mine does, it's a really fun place to visit. We had a great time!

Brunch Joy at Lokal, Shanghai
Our visit to Lokal for brunch in Shanghai left us thoroughly impressed. The staff's exceptional friendliness and top-notch service set the tone for a delightful experience.
Quick service ensured we didn't wait long for our delicious meals, and my son was particularly delighted with his pasta.
The restaurant boasts a fantastic selection of pastries, adding a sweet touch to our overall enjoyment. Lokal is undeniably a must-visit, offering not only great food but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A bar in Starbucks!
If you are near The Bund in Shanghai, then you should visit the Starbucks Reserve on West Nanjing Road as it is quite a special branch.
Along with the usual coffee and fresh food offered in most Starbucks, this reserve has a full bar and offers special cocktails with a mixologist station. All of the decorations and art promotes Shanghai with the Lunar Nee Year celebrations also on show. They also have a great range of Shanghai themed gifts on offer #localguides #Shanghai

Risking to say it is the BEST restaurant I've been in Shanghai 🇨🇳
An amazing presentation with so well prepared dishes from the south of China that brings some South East Asia memories 🤤
