Located in Minhang District near Hongqiao Railway Station is Crystal Palace Arts Bookstore, a newly opened venue for fans of books and architecture alike. Two floors in total, the space is characterized by 26-meter glass walls and white pillars. With bright natural lighting, the space has a strong connection to the outdoors. In fact, the entire atmosphere can completely change based on the weather. Head over on a sunny day if possible! Green plants and trees can be found throughout the store’s interior. There are seats for reading if you happen to find a book you’d like to leaf through. If the sun is a bit too strong, parasols are available to borrow. A stand selling coffee and light snacks can be found in the store. We haven’t found a bookstore quite like this anywhere else, so consider making the trip over, especially if you’re looking for some new reading material.
