Single Person is a furniture shop with a cave-like entrance located on Yongkang Road in the French Concession. While everything found in the shop is technically available to buy, the overall atmosphere and feeling is reminiscent of walking through a museum 🖼️. The shop’s warm lighting creates a cozy atmosphere for furniture browsing. Most of the objects found in the store are quite unique; you’ll find decorative crystal pieces 🔮, scented candles 🕯️, antique light fixtures, old-style glasses 👓, women’s accessories, and much more. If you’re looking for something practical or to put on display in your apartment, there’s a good chance you’ll find some hidden treasures at Single Person. Reservations are generally required for entry, but if you happen upon the store at a time when there aren’t many other shoppers, you’ll still be let in. Either way, ring the doorbell and you’ll be greeted by a friendly shopkeeper who’ll open the door and guide you inside. A shopkeeper will also let you out when you’re ready to leave.
