Magical day at Shanghai Disney Resort

Disney Resort is a great place to visit with your children. Metro line 11 takes you directly to Disney resort. Starting the day, we hired a stroller for our 5 year-old son as the resort is big with many places to see. The stroller cost around 90 yuan to hire for the day. I suggest you get one if you have a child and you don't want them to complain about their legs being tired. There are many restaurants where you can grab a bite, but I have to add that it's a little pricey. It was really difficult to get onto rides because the queues were extremely long. It took more than an hour to get on rides, which makes the price for a one-day ticket not worth it as you don't get to experience all the rides. The views are absolutely beautiful, and the architecture is amazing. If you want to experience the full Disney adventure, I would suggest being there very early in the morning and not during holidays or overly busy weekends. They also have a great baby care facility where moms can breastfeed, change diapers, potty train toddlers, and feed little ones. Next to the baby care facility is also a first aid room. All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the fact that they made everyone who wanted to see the fireworks sit down on the cold floor after 6 p.m. to view the fireworks that started at 8 p.m. They also started to close certain sections of the resort before 7 p.m., which means you either go sit down for the fireworks show that will start at 8 p.m. or go home, which was what we did because we had two little ones and there was nothing else to do and the queues for the rides that were still open were still long. #disneyshanghai #shanghaiweekend
