The global golfing event is held at Shehsan International golf course each year and if easy to reach by metro on line 9 and then taxi or simply by taxi. The course is pristine and the event is well organized with food and dining options. At the gate there is a security check and ID was asked for. (Passport potentially required). This is a full days walking from hole to hole but, very enjoyable and if highly recommend it. The Shanghai Masters at Qizhong sports stadium was a highlight of the year and I hope it returns to the tour as soon as possible. An opportunity to see the world's best players in a loud and vibrant crowd, with flashing lights and a genuine buzz for every star who played. The crowd watched like it was a pantomime with ooohs and aaaahs for each point. The players attempted to speak Chinese in their interview, with mixed success. The location is far from downtown!!! It isn't conveniently accessed by the subway either, so I'd suggest the best option is to get a taxi with as much time as possible. When leaving the venue, getting a taxi is going to take time, as this area of Shanghai isn't used to large volumes of people or traffic. #shanghaiweekend
