Shanghai Jinshan · Blossoms on the Sea This year's red leaves

Chasing red leaves from Tohoku in Japan to Hiroshima's Miyajima, then to Sendai, and finally right at my doorstep. Blossoms on the Sea is a spot my girlfriends and I visit three to four times every year. Every time, there’s something new to discover. The garden, which takes over an hour of hiking to fully explore, is very generous. Unlike Japan’s so-called Red Leaf Valleys with just a few trees, the red leaves 🍁 here will overwhelm your senses to the point of aesthetic fatigue. My eyes are still filled with red. Our scenery is clumsy and passionate, but also full of vibrant romance. Along the way, we ran into some lively Shanghai aunties strutting their stuff; their outfits and photo poses were amazing!! Compared to today’s trendy influencer poses, their group photos have a natural vibe like 1970s posters, don’t you think? I followed the older ladies to copy their photo spots 🤭. In the park, there are also other telephoto warriors, foreground warriors, saturation warriors… wishing everyone ideal shots. Note: Photos taken on 2025.12.6
