It is a fashion and art center transformed from the former site of Shanghai Xiangsheng Shipyard, located on the east bank of the Huangpu River. After renovation, it retains the original concrete beams, columns, and roof trusses, while integrating elements of old and new coexistence. Today, it has become the most vibrant and creative cultural highland in the Lujiazui area. *Main Features ① Rebirth of a century-old industrial heritage: Formerly the site of Xiangsheng Shipyard built in 1862, it was one of the birthplaces of modern industrial civilization in China and recorded the development history of China's shipbuilding industry. After the shipyard was relocated in 2005, the machine workshop closest to the Huangpu River was preserved and redesigned by a master architect into a 26,000㎡ fashion and art commercial center. ② Architectural design retains industrial texture: The renovation preserved original structures such as concrete beams, columns, roof trusses, and some brick walls, transforming shipyard parts into spatial markers. The building is 30 meters high with no partitions in the middle, creating a transparent spatial form that retains the industrial style while integrating modern commercial functions. ③ Integration of culture, art, and commerce: The business includes high-end dining, boutique retail, galleries, art design workshops, and regularly hosts avant-garde performances, international brand shows, and exhibitions. ④ Immersive experience space: The commercial space is combined with an art theater, emphasizing the dialogue between performing arts and architectural space through the concept of "creating a scene for the space," forming a unique immersive experience. *Photo Check-in Spots: ① 1F near the service desk: On one side is a large chandelier, on the other an old staircase.
