The entire temple adopts a pure wooden mortise-and-tenon structure, without a single nail or iron piece, fully showcasing the exquisite skill of traditional craftsmanship. African padauk wood develops a warm luster with the passage of time; even on cloudy days, it has a profound texture, and if bathed in sunlight, warmth flows, and a faint woody fragrance lingers. The deep expanse of the Hall of Heavenly Kings' front corridor, the serene Prajna Corridor, the interplay of reality and reflection between the golden pagoda and the reflection pond... every spot is a perfect photo opportunity. Whether it's the interplay of light and shadow under a clear sky, the hazy poetic charm in the rain, or the unique tranquil atmosphere of a cloudy day, you can capture that ancient charm of the Tang Dynasty, spanning a thousand years. When I visited, it happened to be a cloudy day, but I unexpectedly gained a different kind of solemnity and tranquility.
