Not yet available in Japan! Enjoy an elegant moment at Prada's first Asian store, a dining cafe directly operated by Prada

If you're planning a trip to Shanghai, why not stop by Prada's dining cafe, "Meisho PRADA Rongzha," which has yet to open in Japan? The cafe is located entirely in a gorgeous Western-style building built in 1918 and designated as an Outstanding Historic Building by Shanghai City. The exterior is decorated in a uniform white color scheme with beautiful ornaments. Step inside and you'll find yourself in a tranquil space brimming with a sense of stateliness. The cafe is spacious, and you'll be guided to different floors depending on whether you're dining or having tea. As I visited during afternoon tea time, I was seated on the first floor. I ordered an Americano coffee, but they brought me an espresso first, then poured hot water right in front of me and served it to me. The cakes all looked delicious, and the selection was overwhelming. There's also an open-air terrace, and on a nice day, tea time overlooking the garden lawn would be lovely.
