The JW hotel I’ve been most satisfied with is this one Oriental Beauty Valley JW Marriott 🛠️ Facilities: There is an indoor children's playground, outdoor playground, swimming pool (including a small pool suitable for babies), and a little train (staff are present for reception, registration, and guidance, with good order). 🤵‍♀️ Service: Overall, the service is better than the Marriott and Renaissance hotels I have experienced before. 🍽️ Dining: We enjoyed the hotel’s buffet dinner at night. Although the price is not cheap, the overall quality is good, with some specialty drinks and seafood... we were very satisfied, and there was also a limited supply of seafood... overall, the taste was good... (considered a pleasant hotel dining experience). 🏠 Accommodation: The room conditions are good. ⛰️ Surroundings: Close to Shanghai Fish and Fengxian Museum (suitable for babies to play). 🏘️ Room type/layout: All guest rooms have lake views. This time, we stayed in a lake view suite of 95 square meters, located at the end of the corridor (corner suite), mainly decorated in beige and lake blue; both the bedroom and living room have small balconies, and the living room offers lake views of Jin Hai on both sides, with a reasonable layout. 🛌 Amenities/facilities: - The room is equipped with a TV that supports screen casting, a full-size sofa, a desk, a smart toilet, and comfortable bedding; the bathroom has a single sink and uses toiletries from the British Aromatherapy Association. - The executive lounge offers afternoon tea, happy hour, and cocktail hour, with good quality food and a variety of drinks. - The first floor has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and children’s playground (with building blocks, picture books, and other facilities). Outdoors, there is a children’s playground (including a climbing area and sandpit) and a summer-open swimming pool, as well as a small pool suitable for babies and a well-organized little train. 💰 Average cost per person: Room rates are just over 1000 RMB, buffet prices are not cheap, but overall reasonable. 💗 Other tips: - The location could be improved; self-driving is recommended. Nearby attractions include Shanghai Fish and Fengxian Museum, which are good places to visit. - Service quality is excellent, better than some Marriott and Renaissance hotels, and you can book last minute by calendar availability.
