The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Fengxian District. Just outside the door is a bustling commercial area with plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options. It's also very close to Shanghai Fish Park, perfect for a post-meal stroll by the lake, enjoying the breeze—so relaxing. If you love shopping, there are plenty of malls nearby, so no worries about where to shop. 🛀 Excellent Wellness Facilities The hotel's wellness facilities really blew me away! The gym is fully equipped with treadmills, strength training machines, and everything is brand new, making workouts super smooth. I went every morning to work up a sweat and felt energized all day. The biggest surprise was the pool—the water was crystal clear and the temperature just right, making swimming especially comfortable. I also noticed a thoughtful detail: towels were conveniently placed on the poolside loungers, ready to use. This service is truly top-notch. 🛌 Super Comfortable Stay At check-in, the front desk staff were very warm and handled the process quickly. They also told me about some of the hotel's special features, which felt very welcoming. The room decor was tasteful, and the bed was incredibly soft—sleeping felt like sinking into clouds, and I slept soundly until morning. The room had large windows with great natural light; opening the curtains during the day let in sunshine that instantly lifted my mood. Another small detail: the room was stocked with various high-end toiletries that smelled amazing, making me feel quite pampered. 🌟 Fun Nearby Attractions There are plenty of attractions around the hotel. Shanghai Fish Park is my favorite spot, featuring a large lake and many artistic sculptures along the shore. I even rented a bike inside the park and rode around the lake, feeling very free and relaxed. There's also Shanghai Bay National Forest Park, full of lush trees and fresh air—perfect for a weekend unwind. These places are not far from the hotel, easily reachable by taxi or shared bike, super convenient. 💡 Other Tips One more tip for staying here: the hotel's breakfast is especially abundant, with a variety of Chinese and Western options. I always ate my fill every morning. The staff are very friendly and greet you warmly whenever you pass by, which feels very cozy. If you want to eat inside the hotel, they also offer room service, which is very convenient. Overall, staying at the Shanghai Oriental Beauty Valley JW Marriott was a fantastic experience—I’m super happy and will definitely come back next time!
