Shanghai dine in Hanfu with performances

Gongyan in Shanghai was such a fun and unique dinner experience. You get to dress up in beautiful Hanfu (they also do your hair and makeup), and the whole place feels like you’ve stepped into an ancient palace. The full-course meal was delicious. What made it really special was the atmosphere. There were multiple performances throughout the meal — dancing, live music, and even the way dishes were served felt like part of the show. It wasn’t just a dinner, it was a whole experience. Just make sure to book in advance through their WeChat mini program (search “宫宴 Gongyan”) — spots fill up fast.
