Just stayed three nights at the newly opened Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai—what an experience

If I had to say why, it’s probably for this view. Watching from sunset to sunrise, you can see all of Lujiazui from the room, and the skyline looks especially beautiful under different lighting. It even made the room photos come after photo 7. The renovated suites, gym, spa, and lounge are not open yet. As a globalist, I was upgraded to a view room—simple and clean but completely lacking the Hyatt vibe. The welcome fruit was accompanied by a cup of fruit tea, which was quite thoughtful and tasted good. The room key card was as beautiful as always—I stole one to keep.
