#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Dining room Yen Chinese Restaurant is located on the fifth floor of W hotel. You need to take the elevator to the sixth floor to reach Yen Bar first, and then take the stairs down to the fifth floor. The waiter gave us a seat by the window, where we could see the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower. The view was great and the environment was very comfortable. The meals included Cantonese snacks, Shanghainese cuisine, Cantonese cuisine and desserts. First, they asked if we wanted some tea or a glass of water, and they also served us three side dishes, for a total of five dishes. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we were also served longevity noodles and cake. We ordered barbecued pork, half a portion of fried chicken, beef, truffle tofu and steamed dumplings. After eating these five dishes, we all agreed that they were very delicious, with just the right amount of saltiness, and the meat was tender and fresh. The longevity noodles were also delicious. We had already eaten five dishes, so the amount of noodles was a bit too much. The soup tasted like a thick soup. The chocolate cake was also delicious. There was very little cream, and the cake was also delicious. The cream had a light chocolate aroma and was not too sweet.
