During the day, Disney Princesses make special appearances on the Enchanted Storybook Castle balcony, and at night, there are special castle projection shows that bring fairytales to life. ✅Low Season – Short Queues! One of the best things about visiting in March is that it’s the low season. This means almost every ride had a wait time of less than 30 minutes! Normally, popular attractions like “Soaring Over the Horizon” and “TRON Lightcycle Power Run” can have wait times of over 2 hours, but this time, we got on in just 20 minutes. It was an amazing experience! ✅Cold Weather – Stay Warm Although March is technically spring, Shanghai is still quite cold, especially in the mornings and evenings. The wind can be strong, so I highly recommend wearing a windproof jacket and a scarf, especially if you plan to stay for the nighttime fireworks or parades. Otherwise, it can get really chilly. ✅Dining Tip – Disneytown is a Great Alternative Food inside the park is quite pricey and has limited options. Instead, we chose to eat at Disneytown, which has a wider variety of food (Chinese, Western, Japanese, etc.) and is more affordable than the park restaurants. Highly recommend checking it out for a better dining experience! ✅Spring Vibes – The Park is in Full Bloom One of the most beautiful things about visiting in March is that the entire park is filled with blooming flowers. The colorful floral displays around the castle and main entrance add an extra touch of magic to the experience.
