Dishui Lake Guide (Including Fireworks, Parking, Routes, and Location Maps)

Route and photo location maps are in the pictures 📍A very slow walk around takes 4 hours without much stopping. If you arrive in the afternoon, you can walk counterclockwise to visit Sponge Park, Yichi Garden, and Duoyun Academy while it’s still daylight; otherwise, you won’t see the scenery after dark. 📍I call the southeast corner the best sunset viewing spot, where you can see sailboats through the sunset glow, as shown in the pictures. 📍The fireworks are viewed from North Island. Locate the North Island Antarctic Cabin; it’s a large lawn area, very close with no obstructions, and not in the direction of the smoke drift. The fireworks start promptly at 8 PM and last for 6 minutes. 📍Parking is available on the service road along Huanhu North 1st Road, preferably near North Island, so you don’t have to walk far after watching the fireworks. On non-holiday weekends, it’s not very crowded and there’s no traffic jam. 📍If there are no parking spaces on the roadside, you can park underground at Yifu li, with a daily cap of 10 yuan. 📍Dishui Lake offers free camping, and camping canopies or tents are seen everywhere by the lakeside.
