Wusong Battery Island National Wetland Park, Shanghai

Wusong Battery Island National Wetland Park is located at No. 206 Tanghou Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai. It is situated at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Huangpu River. Its southwest corner is the famous Wusongkou, where a naval battery was built during the Qing Dynasty due to the terrain, hence the name Battery Island. The park features the Yangtze River Estuary Science and Technology Museum, Shell Theater, Mine Garden, Boat Dock, Sports Club, and other facilities. It is a large park integrating science education, leisure and entertainment, tourism, and a blend of natural charm and cultural heritage.
