This hotel in Shanghai!! My impression is skyrocketing right now!!

Marriott Platinum Challenge Day 7 introduction—— Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 📍This Sheraton often appears in flash sales, and I’ve seen many recommendations, so I came to check it out... Conclusion—if you don’t want to fight for food in the lounge and aren’t too picky about meals, sisters can come, since the points return rate is still relatively high. There are quite a few foreigners here, maybe those who are stationed in China for work, or it’s the crew rest hotel for Emirates Airlines ✈️. 1️⃣ Transportation 🚇Line 10 terminus Jilong Road, 120 meters, about a 3-minute walk, which is relatively close. 2️⃣ Rooms Because I was upgraded to a suite, it was quite spacious. Sitting in the room, you can see a big chimney 🏭 outside the window, which is quite interesting. The weird thing is there are two wooden stools 🪵 behind the sofa area (I don’t get it, I was quite shocked)…… 3️⃣ Gym & Pool The gym is especially spacious... but it’s spacious with very few equipment 😆, many machines are quite old, but it’s very niche and not commonly seen in other hotels. The 🏊 pool doesn’t seem to be standard length, it’s rather short. 4️⃣ Surroundings & Attractions The area is mostly office buildings related to Waigaoqiao. There’s a KFC opposite, and a FamilyMart near the subway station. For those interested, on the second day you can visit Gaoqiao Ancient Town, about 2KM away, and try the Gaoqiao pancakes 🍽️. 5️⃣ Lounge The lounge is really hard to describe... Afternoon tea is in the first-floor buffet restaurant, only watermelon 🍉, bread 🥖, and plant-based cream cakes... nuts and soft drinks? Impossible ❌. Happy Hour is on the top floor lounge, the decor is really grand and elegant. But the food is really disappointing, once the soft drinks are finished they don’t refill, and the cakes are the same old afternoon tea companions... things like wood ear scrambled eggs, duck leg, vegetables, curry chicken, pre-made egg tarts. I wonder if the people who recommended this lounge also “enjoyed” the same quality... And it’s very crowded, they stagger check-in times, we were scheduled for the second batch around 6:30 PM, and still had to search for seats for a long time 😭, good dishes are all about fighting for them! 6️⃣ Breakfast After experiencing the lounge quality, you can guess the breakfast—cold dishes... the ham is salted square ham, forget about cheese or anything else 🙅. ➡️In summary, the only good thing about this hotel is the luxurious and elegant decor, with many glass cabinets displaying collectibles on the first floor. The owner probably spent all the money here. I’ve been to 2-3 Sheratons, and really can’t love them, so everyone should avoid the brands acquired by Marriott!
