The variety of dining options is relatively limited, so for first-time travelers departing from Pudong, if your flight does not provide meals, it is recommended to choose a restaurant on the departure hall floor. We chose Shi Lu, which mainly offers local fast food and noodles. Prices range from 70 to 90 RMB, with side dishes around 20-30 RMB. We ordered a Yangzhou Fried Rice Set, Fatty Intestine Noodles, and a plate of Pickled Cucumbers. The fried rice set includes a small bowl of Yangzhou fried rice, blanched broccoli, roasted bran, and a clear steamed lion's head soup. It's a typical Yangzhou set meal, the taste is decent but the portion is small, so those with a big appetite might not be satisfied. The Fatty Intestine Noodles have a braised but not spicy broth, and the taste is decent. The noodle portion is substantial, but the amount of fatty intestine is about half of what you would get at a local noodle shop. The Pickled Cucumbers are the most popular dish, offering the best taste and value.
