Shanghai North Bund City Walk Route Guide

Just returned from a city walk in Shanghai's North Bund, and I must recommend this treasure route to everyone! Stroll from the old buildings along the Suzhou River to the Little Big Egg of Shanghai, and you'll see the blend of vintage and modern Shanghai, with every corner being super charming. Route Plan The entire route is 3 km long, and you can take your time walking and taking photos, finishing in about 3 hours. The starting point is Exit 3 of Tiantong Road Station on Metro Line 12, and the endpoint is Exit 3 of International Cruise Terminal Station on Metro Line 12 for the return journey. Shanghai Postal Museum ➡️ Shanghai's Seine River ➡️ Zhapu Bridge Road ➡️ New Union Church ➡️ Waibaidu Bridge ➡️ Shanghai Stock Exchange Museum ➡️ Manner Coffee ➡️ Little Big Egg of Shanghai ➡️ Magnolia Plaza Photo Spots Shanghai Postal Museum: Located at 395 Tiantong Road, there's a "Shanghai Gate" photo spot here, but be sure to check the opening hours, or you'll only be able to take photos of the exterior. Shanghai's Seine River: Located at 234 North Suzhou Road, find a coffee shop along the Suzhou River, enjoy a leisurely coffee while admiring the beautiful scenery, and capture atmospheric photos effortlessly. Zhapu Bridge: At the confluence of the Suzhou River and Huangpu River, it's a popular "Master Bridge" in Shanghai. Standing on the bridge, you can capture both the Postal Museum and Waibaidu Bridge, easily taking photos with a sense of depth. New Union Church: Located at 107 South Suzhou Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai (near Yuanmingyuan Road), the small gate across the street offers a perfect view. The red brick exterior walls and clock tower remnants of the church exude a sense of history, making it easy to take vintage photos. Waibaidu Bridge: Located at 111 North Suzhou Road, as a filming location for "Romance in the Rain," cleverly use the bridge structure to capture unique geometric photos with the three iconic buildings. Shanghai Stock Exchange Museum: At the corner of 15 Huangpu Road, stand on the sidewalk here to take photos, where historical heritage and modern urban vibes blend perfectly, creating photos with a strong sense of storytelling. MANNER Coffee: Located 60 meters south of the International Port Building (by the river), this coffee shop is amazing. Sitting indoors, you can capture the three iconic buildings in one frame, with a 100% success rate. Little Big Egg of Shanghai: Located in the North Bund Riverside Green Space, the view from the bridge is even better, and the unique architectural design is definitely worth a visit. Magnolia Plaza 3rd Floor: Located at 588 Dongchangzhi Road, take the elevator to the 3rd floor, turn right, and you'll see the four iconic buildings, as if framed, with the beautiful scenery fully captured. No need to wake up early, just half a day is enough to take stunning photos that will flood your social media. Grab your friends and head to the North Bund for a city walk!
