Many Koreans may confuse this restaurant (Shanghai Laolao) with Waipojia (外婆家), but they are different stores. Waiipojia is a Chinese chain store, so you can find it in other areas, but Shanghai Laolao seems to be a store only in Shanghai. From what I found on the blog, Hongsharou and Mapo Tofu are famous, so I took my mother there when she visited Shanghai. Hongsharou was soft and delicious, and Mapo Tofu was not too salty, but it was spicy and good to eat. The combination of richness and spiciness was really good for my taste.
