🏡🏘🏖🗼"Sinan Mansion" on Sinan Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai is a historical preserved building complex consisting of 51 garden houses, covering an area of ​​50,529 square meters, with 30,310 square meters of old buildings preserved and protected. It is the former residence of historical figures such as Premier Zhou, Mei Lanfang, Zeng Pu, and Liu Yazi. Premier Zhou once lived in the Zhou Mansion at No. 73 Sinan Road. Mei Lanfang and his family once lived in Mei Lanfang's former residence at No. 87 Sinan Road for more than 20 years. Zeng Pu and Liu Yazi also lived here. Sinan Road was built in 1914 by the French Municipal Council in memory of the popular musician Jules Massenet, the author of "Meditations". The road was named "Massenet Road". In 1946, Massenet Road was renamed Sinan Road because of Sinan County, Guizhou Province, and the name has been used ever since. Before liberation, Shanghai's military and political leaders, tycoons, professionals and artists all liked to live in this area, making Sinan Road a gathering place for the upper class at that time.
