After visiting Jing'an Temple and Longhua Temple, I heard that a new modern Zen-style temple has opened in Tangzhen, Pudong, so I came to check it out. Sure enough, its architectural style is bold and innovative, completely different from traditional temples, with a strong modern feel. Later, the Yu Gong Temple was rebuilt as a Zen temple during the Ming Dynasty. With the change of dynasties, the original building gradually disappeared in the long river of history. In 2013, the ancient temple was rebuilt and renamed Guoqing Temple, and was transformed into a modern park-style temple.
