"Shenjiang News", formerly known as "Shenjiang News", was first published in Shanghai in 1872. Shenbao occupies an important position in the study of Chinese journalism history and social history, and is known as the "encyclopedia" for studying modern Chinese history! The current site of the declaration hall still retains part of the "original decoration", such as the French relief decoration on the top of the restaurant, the wall tiles on the exterior of the western-style building, etc.~ After Shenbao ceased publication on May 27, 1949, the building was transferred to Jiefang Daily.
