This is a building renovated by architect Tadao Ando. It is Tadao Ando's first renovation project in China. The museum building is inspired by jewelry boxes and uses glass curtains to create a simple and clear geometric appearance. The side hall on the second floor is particularly beautiful. The multiple floor-to-ceiling windows make the light and shadow in the hall particularly beautiful, attracting everyone to take photos, and there are especially many people on the day off. ☝🏻️tips: It is recommended to go to the museum in the afternoon, visit the exhibit area first, walk around and take pictures for about 2-3 hours, and then go out to the side hall on the second floor to take pictures. The light is best then! The platform of the cafe on the fifth floor can take pictures of the sunset and night view of the Bund. It’s also good to take pictures of the spiral staircase on the fifth and sixth floors.
