Shanghai Old House Art Center

Shanghai Xuhui Old House Art Center is located at No. 393, Wukang Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai. This century-old building has transformed into a treasure land. The city architecture with history and stories will be regarded as treasures to be collected and presented here. The location of the art center is a storied old house, which is said to be the \"former residence of Huang Xing\". Huang Xing lived here for 4 months in 1916 until his death. Later generations named it \"Huang Xing's former residence\" to commemorate this pioneer of the Chinese revolution. The current Old House Art Center, with its exquisite mosaic-tiled entrance hall, huge glass atrium, irregular quadrilateral second-floor corridor, and elegant phoenix-winged iron railings... The glory of the past is still vivid, and it still has a full sense of immediacy. The first floor of the center displays more than ten classic old buildings in Xuhui District with a 1:67 architectural model. Wukang Building, Blackstone Apartment... can be seen from all sides, clear and satisfying. Around the display area, there are cultural and creative sales and tourist rest areas, which are elegant and comfortable. On the second floor of the center, the classic old house's excellent photography works are hung along the wall of the corridor.
