New Town Plaza is a shopping mall in the town centre of Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Covering 200,000 square metres , the plaza comprises Phase 1 (the main mall) and Phase 3, which are connected to each other, as well as the Grand Central Plaza, which is less than one kilometre from Phase 1. it is also connected to Shatin MTR Station #plaza #shopping

Sun Tin Wai Shopping Centre is near the Che Kung Temple, so we visited the shopping centre after the Che Kung Temple during the Chinese New Year holiday. This is my first time visit Sun Tin Wai Estate and its shopping centre. The shopping centre looked like being refurbished and the atmosphere was vivid. Sun Tin Wai Estate is a public rental hosuing estate and the shopping mall was sold to private owner. Shops there were mainly selling daily necessities and convenience store. There was a market selling fresh vegetables and fruit at the shopping centre. The playground and basketball court at the mall was nicely designed with recreational and leisure facilities. The movable seats and outdoor facilitates created an harmonious environment where residents and visitors could relax, interact and play around. Such open space was so relaxing and the view was open which was suitable for holding events or leisure functions. Although it took 10 minutes walking from MTR Sha Tin Wai Station to Sun Tin Wai Shopping Centre and then a 5 minutes bus ride when leaving Sun Tin Wai Estate, it was worthy for such a leisure walk and wandering around the estate for fresh air and relaxing ourselves. Sha Tin is the most strategic village and has many culinary locations and beautiful views day/night...we went to Shatin New Town Plaza to shop and have dinner there..

Lovely pink plush seating café. Very stylish and comfortable. Their afternoon tea is delicious and have a wide variety of teas whether hot or cold or bubbly. Definitely go back again to try their others dishes which look very tasty! After#familytravel a shopping spree at the New Town Plaza, or during a stay at the Royal Park Hotel, or after visiting the Heritage Museum, come to this beautiful Central Park of Shatin, flanked with the Shing Mun River. It is a big park in Hong Kong standards, for the forest side go in from the entrance near Tai Wai where you can enjoy the views of Chinese garden adorned by pavilions and lotus flowers in a quiet pond with turtles and koi fishes. If you look closely at the tall trees, you can see all kinds of birds and if you’re lucky, even squirrels! The big playground on this side has something to offer for children of all ages. Get adventurous by climbing over rocks to get to the suspended bridge, with stone castle ruins in the background!

#hongkongguide Stopped by for breakfast. We felt the food could have been higher-effort, as it looked better than it tasted. But the drinks were nice. The iced chocolate was surprisingly large and rich. Nice ambiance as well, although we were puzzled by some oddly melancholic music choices. Highly recommended place to visit.
