Gyeonbokgung Palace - Seoul, South Korea

Overall: - This was a truly stunning sight to see. Gyeonbokgung Palace is located in northern Seoul and was built in 1395. The architecture here was overwhelmingly beautiful. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in South Korea. What To Do: - The changing of the guards was an incredible sight to see and happens every hour from 10:00 15:00 in the main courtyard in front of the palace. - Walking through the palace took us a little over one hour as we spent time to look at each building. The colors and variety were impressive and there were small animal statues located inbetween some of the buildings. - If you are interested, you can rent a traditional Hanbok dress from a shop located just outside the East entrance of the palace. Rental is about $15 USD for two hours. We visited in 2019 and it was so fun to see people from around the world in the shop learning about the dresses and walking through the palace in them.
