A Place to Promote Hanji in Seoul, South Korea

The Korea Craft & Design Foundation operates this location to promote Hanji, a traditional Korean paper. There is also a section selling Hanji goods, and the Hanji from the letterpress brand 'toolpress &' features charming designs that don't feel old-fashioned. In the basement, there is a resource space and a workshop space. In the middle of the space, there were photos printed on Hanji by Ku Bong-chan. I haven't seen a complete collection of his works yet, but I was happy to closely observe the works of a photographer whose works I hope to see more of in the future. There is also a 'Self Hanji Photo Studio' (reservation required) in the basement studio, where you can take photos and print them on Hanji.
