Staying at the Grand Hyatt Seoul is like stepping into a Korean drama.

From the bellboy to the front desk to the duty manager, everyone speaks fluent English and is very thoughtful. The back of the hotel offers mountain views. You can see Namsan Tower from the elevator in the hallway. I stayed in a Grand Suite this time. The room design is great. The living room and master bedroom are arranged in a line along the window, leaving plenty of space for natural light. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are nearly 10 meters long and offer a view of the city. Although the hotel is a bit old and uses a lot of wood for decoration, it doesn't feel old at all. It is clear that a lot of effort has been put into maintenance. The layout is also very reasonable and the space is used very well. The 24-hour in-room dining is worth mentioning. It is delicious and is no worse than the restaurants outside. It is perfect for me when I get hungry in the middle of the night. As for the location, which is often criticized, it is actually one of the advantages for me. If the hotel was not built halfway up the mountain, it would not have such a wide mountain view and city view, such a quiet environment, and such a large area of greenery. It is suitable for both vacations and travel. If you take a taxi the whole time, it doesn't really affect you. Uber can arrive within 3 minutes. It only takes 3-4 minutes to go down the mountain to the Blue Bottle Coffee in Hannam-dong. If you like city walks, it is very comfortable to walk down the mountain. There are many restaurants and international brand stores along the way. You can take pictures of Namsan Tower wherever you go. If you want to take pictures, you don't need to go to other places to find a good spot for Namsan Tower. I have always believed that a good hotel can greatly enhance a tourist's impression of a city. The Grand Hyatt Seoul is definitely one of those hotels.
