A unique hotel experience in Seoul

Located next to Namsan Park, this urban resort offers a distinctive accommodation experience. The design of the lobby and lobby bar makes one feel as if they are in a holiday resort, especially with the huge floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a magnificent view of Seoul's night scene. The hotel's ice rink adds a touch of fun. However, the hotel's accessibility is slightly lacking, with the subway being a distance away, and taking a taxi involves dealing with high costs and congestion. During the New Year's period, the hotel's occupancy rate is surprisingly high, with the lobby and guest lounge packed with people. The crowds during breakfast and happy hour might be off-putting, and opting to dine out or order room service might be a better choice. After upgrading to a higher floor, the newly renovated style makes it hard to see the signs of age. Although the rooms are slightly compact and lack a bathtub, the view of Namsan Tower compensates for this shortcoming, becoming one of the most iconic views of Seoul. The welcome gift provided by the hotel is very thoughtful, a case of 'less is more'. The 'Celebrity Kim Gyu-shin Korean Fruit' by Korean dessert master Kim Gyu-shin and a card introducing its history make one feel the hotel's unique care. This approach of maintaining standardization within the group while displaying a hint of uniqueness is impressive. The hotel's staff, both in appearance and attitude, are satisfactory. The welcome guy looks a bit like Eddie Peng, and from the afternoon he received me at the hotel, he was busy until the evening. Their professionalism and enthusiasm have added a lot to this hotel experience.
