Let's talk about my Seoul 3-day itinerary today 🗺️【Itinerary】 D1⃣️Landing in Seoul——Shopping & Eating in Myeong-dong (Myeong-dong Cathedral)——Namsan Seoul Tower——Myeong-dong Comic Street D2⃣️ Ewha Womans University——Deoksugung Palace——Starfield Library——Gwangjang Market——Cheonggyecheon Stream——Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) D3⃣️Gyeongbokgung Palace——Blue House——Bukchon Hanok Village——Han River 🛌【Accommodation】 📍Recommended to stay near Myeong-dong, convenient for food, drink, and entertainment. 👍【Recommendations】 🔘Myeong-dong: Shopping and eating, fresh and youthful style, affordable prices. There's also Myeong-dong Cathedral and Comic Street. 🔘Ewha Womans University: Beautiful scenery, photogenic architecture. ❗Free, but the sign says no tourists allowed, so keep a low profile when taking photos. 🔘Deoksugung Palace: An unexpected surprise, the ticket is only 1,000 Korean won. As a secondary palace, it's much less crowded than Gyeongbokgung Palace, offering a great visiting experience with all the essential halls and thrones. The architectural style is more diverse, including Western-style buildings. 🔘Dongdaemun Design Plaza DDP: A must-visit for architecture enthusiasts and fans of Zaha Hadid. Streamlined design, photogenic inside and out, with many angles to shoot from, suitable for both wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The night view is even better. 🔘Gyeongbokgung Palace: The Korean Imperial Palace, a must-visit attraction. There's a guard change ceremony at Heungnyemun Square at 10 am and 2 pm, lasting about 15-20 minutes. 💰The ticket is 3,000 Korean won, available on-site. Payment by Visa, Mastercard, and cash is accepted, and wearing a Hanbok grants free entry. 🔘Blue House: The former presidential residence, now open for free visits. Exchange your passport for a ticket at the small booth at the entrance. Remember to pick up a guide map at the entrance, which includes a map and introduction. In addition to the main buildings, there's also the presidential residence, hiking trails, and historical relics. If you have enough time, it's worth exploring. 🙃【Complaints】 ☑️Stairs: The subway stations really have endless stairs, it's exhausting with luggage. ☑️Seoul Tower: A landmark attraction, you'll regret not going, but also regret going. I didn't encounter long queues, just felt the ticket was too expensive and not worth it. Tickets can be purchased via Alipay QR code, or look for cheaper tickets on various platforms. ☑️Gwangjang Market: First of all, there's no dining environment to speak of, it's just like a food stall. Food homogenization is serious, everywhere you look there are potato pancakes, very oily... ☑️Bukchon Hanok Village: It should be featured on travel platforms worldwide, crowded with tourists of all skin colors, really not photogenic, plus there's a hill to climb. If you want to take photos with Korean characteristics, Gyeongbokgung Palace is better, it's spacious, you can spread out, and you can always find a corner with no people to take a good shot.
