Autumn Hiking at Bukhansan National Park

#fallishere A wonderful hike in autumn, admiring the foliage colors, on a cool & sunny day. The hike to the peak took about 3 hours including many breaks for photos and it was challenging but manageable. There is really only one trail - it’s a loop - from the entrance. It was supposed to be a level 2 difficulty but there were alots of rocky stairs up then lots of rocky terrain down. Hiking to the top was long and hard. We’re pretty fit, but it wasn’t easy! We saw many Korean seniors in snappy hiking attires and equipment, navigating the rocky terrain like it was like backyard! I’d say, proper hiking shoes and poles would help tremendously. All that said, we’re glad we did it as the foliage and the views were spectacular!
