Munot Fortress

Munot Fortress was built to defend against German invasions. The large circular fortress has a diameter of nearly 50 meters, with walls constructed between 1564-1589. On the way up, you will pass through vineyards. At the top, there is a wide open area with seating, and you can see cannons along the walls. From Munot Fortress, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Rhine River flowing through the city of Schaffhausen.
