Savannakhet

Savannakhet Savannakhet or Savannakhet is one of the provinces of Laos in the central part of the country. It is the largest province in Laos. The official name is Kanthabouly, but most people call it Savannakhet or simply Savannakhet. The history of Savannakhet began during the Khmer Empire. The city was called "Suvannaphoum Prathet". ​- Located in the middle of Mukdahan Province and Quang Tri Province of Vietnam, which connects to Hue and Da Nang. ​- It is a connection point for land, water and air transportation routes in Laos. ​- There is the 2nd Friendship Bridge (Mukdahan - Savannakhet) which is a connection point between Thailand, Laos and Vietnam via Route 9, which is part of the EWEC (East-West Economic Corridor). #NewCafe #Laos #Savannakhet
