Orangutan Adventure: Life-Changing Moments and Unforgettable Smiles

Expedition: Kylie Bullo Ultimate Sumatra - 10-18 August 2025. My daughter and I have just returned from the trip and can’t stop smiling. Saying it was a dream realized for my daughter, obsessed with orangutans, is an understatement. Kylie, Gary, and Lucy (local guide) were welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate hosts, sharing their expertise with kindness. Our group, filled with fun orangutan enthusiasts from around the world, shared stories, laughs, and delicious meals. Kylie’s evening talks were captivating, along with presentations from local experts and guides, who are the true heroes on the ground. Witnessing the vital work done with TOP donations has inspired us to keep fundraising. The Indonesian people's generosity was deeply humbling, and we return to Brisbane with a new perspective on life. Seeing orangutans up close in their natural environment has left us with treasured memories. We might even be planning our next Orangutan Odysseys trip.
