Things that felt different in Saipan 😎

☁️ First: Clouds When I arrived in Saipan at dawn and went to Bird Island to watch the sunrise, the first thing that struck me as different was the clouds. In Saipan, the clouds hang very low, and especially close to the sea on the horizon. 🌊 Second: The ocean is right next to the road! I was surprised to see the ocean right next to the road, but there was no breakwater to block the waves. Although the waves were gentle, it was still amazing to be just a 1-2 minute walk from the road to the ocean. ⚘ Tip : You might think you can only get around Saipan by rental car, taxi, or tour, but there's a city bus for $2 per ride.
